Peachland Players is presenting its upcoming Spring play
SPIRIT- written by Peg Kehret
Spirit is about The Happy Hollow Rest Home, which brings together a variety of delightful characters, all of whom want more from life than their restricted existence allows. When 83 year old Clara begins taking risks to liven up the place, the other residents are overjoyed!! The Manager of the struggling rest home is not!!
The play combines with wisdom, a young aide, a lawyer and a policeman to ensure that Happy Hollow's group spirit is allowed to grow.
Please join us for an evening of charm, insight and heart-warming humor.

In the middle of a howling snowstorm, a bus with 4 or 5 weary pasengers pulls up at a cheerful roadside diner and as all roads are blocked, they will have to hole up 'til morning.
Cherie, a nightclub chanteuse, a 21 year old cowboy with a ranch of his own and headstrong as a bull is trying to get ready to sling her over his shoulder and carry her, alive and kicking all the way to Montana!!! She tries ducking out from under his clumsy embraces, and screeching at him to "shut up", she feels that somehow she is going to end up in Montana. Then, the proprietor of the cafe and the bus driver find time to develop a friendship of their own. What's more, a middle-aged scholar comes to terms with himself and a young girl who works in the cafe also gets her first taste of romance.
Put this all together and you will find an uproarious comedy. Come and enjoy this comedy, with a talented cast of 7, all of which bring these characters to life.
